When a Wayne Enterprises employee is killed by an antipersonnel mine in the war-torn nation of Kravia, Batman must go on a one-man rescue mission for the worker's missing daughter. In the process, the Dark Knight learns of the horrors faced by those who must live daily knowing that the slightest misstep may be their last.
